Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Republic of Serbia Lazar Mirkić 21 September 2015, in his inaugural visit received Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications of the Republic of Serbia Rasim Ljajic.

Ljajic’s ambassador Mirkić wished dorobrošlicu and expressed his satisfaction that the post of ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Republic of Serbia, a person who comes from the corporate sector, which is currently necessary. He added that the most important common issues and interests of the two countries just economy, and that the development of economic cooperation to be preconditions to expand cooperation in other areas. He stressed that there are very good relations and frequent contacts with the Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations Mirko Sarovic.

Mirkić Ambassador thanked for the warm welcome and said that during his term of office in the Republic of Serbia special attention to the strengthening of economic relations between the two countries. He stressed that it was important that any time soon hold a joint meeting between the Council of Ministers and the Government of the Republic of Serbia, which would be an opportunity to sign a prepared agreements such as the Agreement on cooperation in the military industry and others.

Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Republic of Serbia Lazar Mirkić in inaugural visit to the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Nebojsa Setafnovića

Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Republic of Serbia Lazar Mirkić 15 December 2015 was the inaugural visit to the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Nebojsa Stefanovic.

Ambassador Mirkić on this occasion congratulated Serbia opening of the first chapters in the EU accession process. He pointed out that this is good news for Serbia and the whole region. Minister Stefanovic thanked and said that the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia is available to help BiH in the preparation of the action plan for Chapter 24th

It was noted that relations between BiH and Serbia are good and that they are raised to a higher level after a joint session of the Council of Ministers and the Government of the Republic of Serbia in November. This positive momentum should be used to expand the co-operation and on the operational level and to cover all areas in the context of bilateral relations.
It was assessed that the cooperation of institutions responsible for security issues in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Serbia is good, and it should do more joint efforts in coping with the current security threats, especially terrorism. In this regard should continue and intensify the exchange of information.
