Say “social media” – that line made everyone smile after their first EUNIC Cluster Srbija meeting of the autumn season. New colleagues at the British Council, Institut Francais, and the Italian Cultural Institute in Belgrade, newly arrived over the last hot summer weeks and days, introduced themselves. The European Day of Languages (September 26th) and the October EUNIC stand at Belgrade Book Fair (Oct25-Nov 1) were of topmost priority for co-ordination and finishing touches. Guests from Nis and Novi Sad joined for a debate on future projects and perspectives of joint activities.
Last but not least: time to say good-bye to Tony O´Brien (outgoing director British Council, 3rd row standing, second from left) – and a huge thank-you, Tony, for all you did for EUNIC!
