First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic conferred today with the German MP Gunther Krichbaum, a member of the Christian-Democratic Union (CDU) and Chairman of the Bundestag Committee on the Affairs of the European Union.
Minister Dacic assessed that the bilateral relations were good and underlined readiness of the Republic of Serbia to develop and promote overallcooperation with the Federal Republic of Germany. He informed Mr. Krichbaum about the state of the affairs concerning the opening of the negotiating chapters 23 and 24, highlighting the importance of the continued progress in the negotiating process on the membership of Serbia in the EU.
Mr. Krichbaum emphasized that the Federal Republic of Germany supported the European integration course of Serbia and underscored that it would continue to offer its assistance and support in the negotiating process.
Minister Dacic and Mr. Krichbaum condemned in the strongest terms today’s terrorist attack in Brussels.
