At the end of the second day of his participation in the Sir Bani Yas Forum in Abu Dhabi, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic had a bilateral meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Hahyan.

Noting that the bilateral relations and cooperation between Serbia and UAE were at a high level, the interlocutors agreed to work towards their further strengthening and promotion. They also agreed to continue efforts aimed at preparing for signature several agreements in the bilateral area.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates expressed his satisfaction over the fact that the Government of the Republic of Serbia passed a decision to abolish visas for UAE nationals, underlining that his country would shortly do likewise, and abolish visas for nationals of Serbia, too.

The meeting ended with the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding on the Establishment of a Joint Consular Committee.

Minister Dacic invited Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Hahyan to visit Serbia, next year, which was accepted by the latter with great pleasure.
