The task of the institutions and the member-states of the EU is not only to defend liberal democracy against strong external threats but also to prevent it from dying from within. As evidenced by a recent survey by the Bertelsmann Stiftung, more than 54% of respondents stressed that their voice does not count, and 32% that their participation would not make a difference. To address this gap, citizen participation must become an integral part of democracy in the EU. The pandemic crisis and the Russo-Ukrainian war have shown that European societies are extremely vulnerable. It is important to recognize this. Le festival de la culture Hip-Hop « Dodji na Amfi – Vol.8 » sera organisé cette année du 18 au 20 juillet 2019 à l’amphithéâtre sur les quais de la Nišava à Niš. « Dodji na Amfi » permet aux jeunes talentueux de participer à différentes disciplines et de montrer leurs talents, de promouvoir la culture Hip-Hop à Niš, afin que la ville offre d’autres contenus culturels, accessibles à tous, favorisant des valeurs sociales positives. Cette année, le festival présentera quatre compétitions : le « Battle Freestyle » de rap et le tournoi de basket 1 à 1, qui sont déjà connus ; pour la première fois, l’évènement organisera le « Hip-Hop Dance Battle » ainsi que le concours de graffiti, pour pouvoir permettre à un plus grand nombre de jeunes artistes de montrer leurs talents pour éventuellement gagner des prix.
