The Embassy of Finland organized a seminar “Doing Business with Finland” on 28th February 2017 in Belgrade and on 1st March 2017 in Podgorica.
The seminars were organized with the support of the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia and the Chamber of Economy of Montenegro, with the aim to introduce possibilities for cooperation between Finnish and Serbian as well as Finnish and Montenegrin companies and institutions. The events were also an opportunity for local companies to discuss their business ideas with the Finnish delegation.
“These events represent a strong signal that there has been more and more Finnish and Nordic interest in economic cooperation with this region. Finland is a reliable business partner. Our business decisions are based on solid facts and long-term business opportunities”, Ambassador of Finland to Serbia Mr. Pertti Ikonen stated in his opening remarks at the seminar in Belgrade.
The Finnish delegation was led by Mr. Mika Vehnamaki from the Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ms. Siv Ahlberg from the Finnish business partnership programme – Finnpartnership.
