На 19 февруари 2022 г. представители на посолството, техните семейства и български граждани, живеещи в Сърбия, се събраха пред паметника на Васил Левски в Белград, за да отбележат 149-та годишнина от гибелта на Апостола на свободата. Присъстваха и представители на Министерство на външните работи на Сърбия. След кратко слово от посланик Петко Дойков присъстващите поднесоха венци и цветя.

On 18th February 2022, in partnership with Diplomacy&Commerce magazine, the French Ambassador to Serbia, H. E. Pierre Cochard, hosted a cocktail reception and guided tour for the diplomatic corps at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Belgrade. The event marked France’s presidency over the European Union and featured a retrospective exhibition called ‘Vladimir Veličković: Figure as an Existential Expression’, showcasing the artwork of the famous Serbian painter Vladimir Veličković.
Over forty representatives of diplomatic corps were present at the event, including: H.E.

GIZ donates IT equipment to children’s care homes and nursing homes
Mladenovac, 11 Feburary 2022 – Residential care institutions in 27 cities and municipalities received a donation of IT equipment amounting to 124.000 Euro. The donation includes over 500 devices and aims to facilitate not only communication of residential care home residents with relatives, but also the daily work of workers in social protection. For this purpose, more than 140 tablets and computers, over 30 smart TVs, 30 projectors and projection screens and more than 250 small devices such as cameras, headphones, printers, routers and keyboards have been provided.
Minister for Labor, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs, Darija Kisic Tepavcevic, attended the delivery of IT equipment to the residential care institution in Mladenovac, thus marking the conclusion this activity.

The Covid-19 pandemic is a unique global crisis that has significantly changed social, cultural, and political behaviours. For one, the world is no longer as international: airports and borders have closed, and hurdles such as frequent testing and quarantine have deterred cross-border travel. Additionally, countries reasserted their sovereignty: by seeking to demonstrate their ability to provide good governance, many promoted their own interests against their neighbours. Trust in others became a rare commodity.
