Serbian Association of Managers Annual Award Ceremony
In the year when the Serbian Association of Managers celebrates its 15th anniversary, the Association gave out the traditional Annual Awards to the best managers, employers and CSR companies in Serbia for the 10th consecutive time
The awards for the best leaders of the 21st century were given in four main categories. Due to exceptional business results and visionary approach to business, in the Manager of the Year 2021 category this year, the Association gave two awards for the same category – to Dragan Filipović, Chairman of the Executive Board and CEO of Generali Osiguranje, and Predrag Mihajlović, Chairman of the Executive Board and CEO of OTP Bank Serbia.

Humanitarian Christmas Dinner of the Hellenic Business Association of Serbia
The Hellenic Business Association of Serbia held a traditional Christmas dinner, which gathered almost 70 representatives of member companies. This informal gathering was organized in the pleasant atmosphere of the Taverna Piatakia on 16th December 2021.
At this year’s dinner, a humanitarian lottery was organized in order to raise funds for the purchase of necessary products for the daily life of children in the Children’s Village “Dr Milorad Pavlović” Sremska Kamenica.

Webinar Renewable Energy Sources of Serbia: Legal and Market Framework and...
Organized by the Economic and Trade Department of the Spanish Embassy, the Ministry of Mining and Energy of the Republic of Serbia and the Renewable Energy Sources Association of Serbia (RES), a webinar on the potential of the renewable energy sector in Serbia was held for Spanish companies interested in investing and developing the energy sector in Serbia.
The new legal framework and potential projects in the field of renewable energy sources were presented by Ms Jovanka Atanacković, State Secretary at the Ministry of Mining and Energy of the Republic of Serbia and Assistant Minister Ms Natalija Luković, while the market potential from the private sector perspective was presented by Veljko Ožegović and Danijela Isailović, in front of the Renewable Energy Sources Association of Serbia.

Kompanija Meta koja je vlasnik društvene mreže Fejsbuk razotkrila je u svom izveštaju od 16. decembra više plaćeničkih firmi za špijuniranje korisnika, novinara i političara, a među državama navode se i Srbija i Severna Makedonija. Ilustracija
Fejsbuk je otkrio kompanije koje su špijunirale novinare i političare, među državama su i Srbija i Severna Makedonija.
Kompanija Meta koja je vlasnik društvene mreže Fejsbuk (Facebook) razotkrila je u svom izveštaju od 16. decembra više plaćeničkih firmi za špijuniranje korisnika, novinara i političara, a među državama navode se i Srbija i Severna Makedonija.
Sedam kompanija koje je Meta identifikovala u svom izveštaju su „Cobwebs Technologies“, „Cognyte“ „Black Cube“, „Bluehawk CI“, „BellTroX“, „Cytrox“.
Konkretna imena klijenata koji su iznajmljivali usluge ovih kompanija, niti njihovih meta, nisu objavljena u izveštaju.

Serbia expects economic growth to continue next year
The annual The Economist conference called ‘The World in 2022” was held at the National Assembly of Serbia. In front of numerous members of the diplomatic corps, representatives of state institutions, local governments, companies and the media, a number of officials spoke about their view of the year that is about to end and their predictions regarding a direction Serbia will take in the future, as well as recommendations on what steps would be good for achieving further progress and development.

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is marking twenty years of partnership with Serbia, with the slogan “Creating Together”. On the occasion of this important jubilee, an exhibition entitled #20Years of Partnership – Creating Together showcased the partnerships that have been created during the past two decades throughout Serbia.
