More than 5 million dinars for newborns in the MK Group
The traditional ‘Support to Family’ campaign, with the MK Group granting financial subsidies to the system employees who became parents in the current year, continues in the year marked by the coronavirus pandemic as well. More than five million dinars has been allocated for 146 newborns whose one parent works for the MK Group in Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia in 2020.
At an event in the Sheraton Hotel, where the new parents from the company gathered at a video conference, Aleksandar Kostić, the MK Group VP, said that 620 families and more than 1,000 children were rewarded with a total of more than 31 mi
llion dinars through the ‘Support to Family’ campaign in the past four years.

Fixing a Broken System
In September 2020, the Government of India enacted two new farm laws for agriculture, and amended the Essential Commodities Act for agri-food stuff. The first farm law, Farmers’ Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Act offers farmers the choice to sell their produce within the existing controlled system for marketing agricultural produce in the States or outside the States, through a physical market or on an electronic platform, and directly at farm or anywhere else.

President-elect Joe Biden is “expected to engage, engage, engage” wrote CBS News Foreign Affairs analyst Pamela Falk, adding “Mr. Biden has made it clear he will take immediate action to rejoin the Paris Climate accord, cooperating with dozens of other nations to slow the human causes of climate change, and that he’ll renew U.S. partnership with the World Health Organization (WHO) to address the coronavirus pandemic”.
Looking at his social media profiles it doesn’t look like the President-elect is engaging any more than his predecessor. Biden only follows 30 other Twitter users, none of which is a world leader nor a foreigner for that matter. President Donald Trump doesn’t follow any other world leader, either, and has even unfollowed the only foreigner, British journalist Piers Morgan who had dared criticise the U.S. President for his handling of the coronavirus.
