On Monday, the “Generation Z” China-U.S. Youth Dialogue hosted by the China Public Diplomacy Association was held in Malipo County, Yunnan Province. Chinese Ambassador to the U.S. Qin Gang attended and delivered a speech via video.

Ambassador Qin said that a better future requires our dedication and love. After nearly 30 years of hard work and continued assistance from the outside world, the people of Malipo have now been lifted out of poverty together with the other 770 million people in China.
Malipo’s poverty alleviation has also received support from American friends. The NBA just donated two basketball courts to a middle school in Malipo County.
An American-Chinese girl, Gong Changci, established the ”BRIDGE Foundation” to fund poor students in Malipo County.
Love is boundless, and I hope that Generation Z in China and the United States will dedicate more love to the world.
