Representatives from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Turkey, are taking part in a regional-level policy forum on vocational education and training (VET) and skills for economic development.
Serbian Minister of Education Mladen Šarčević and the EU’s Ambassador to Serbia, Michael Davenport, join key stakeholders from the EU as well as international and regional organisations for the Torino Process 2016-17 Regional Forum organised by the European Training Foundation (ETF).
The ETF’s flagship project – the Torino Process – is a tool to enable partner countries to monitor the implementation of VET reforms and assess progress and impact on citizens. The regional forum is an opportunity to share findings and good practice, discuss common trends, progress and shared priorities as well as identify actions at regional level for the development of VET policies with the involvement of EU and international actors,
The results will be presented at the international Torino Process conference in June, in Turin Italy, that will bring together policymakers, business leaders, EU representatives, international experts and other key stakeholders involved in VET and skills development in the ETF’s 29 partner countries, and beyond.
