Event: The police report that a political party called “Greens of Serbia” will demonstrate in front of the parliament building at 5PM TODAY. Organizers expect more than 1,000 people to attend. They plan to walk from the Parliament building along the following route: Nikola Pasic Square, Kneza Milosa Str., Kralja Milana Str. with a final stop in front of the Presidency building.
The police also report that a number of organizations plan to protest in front of the Pink TV building at Pink Circle in Dedinje tomorrow, October 6, beginning at 12:44PM. The demonstration regards Pink’s reality TV programming. More than 1,000 people are expected to attend. At 14:30 the protestors will start a walk from Pink TV along the following route: Ljutice Bogdana, Autokomanda, Bulevar oslobodjenja, to St. Sava’s church, where they will light candles and leave.
U.S. government personnel are advised to avoid the areas.
