International Conference on Microelectronics – MIEL 2019

The 31st International Conference on Microelectronics – MIEL 2019 is scheduled to open on Monday, 16 September, at the Grand Hall of the University of Niš, at 6 p.m. The conference, which lasts until 18 September, covers broad fields of micro- and nano- electronics, with particular emphasis on the latest research in the field of physics, technology, and characterization of micro- and nano-electronic components and systems, as well as in the field of design and testing of electronic circuits and systems. The conference will present four invited distinguished world experts in the field of nano- and flexible electronics, as well as 70 authors from over 20 countries all over the world.

A mini-colloquium titled ‘Mini-Colloquium on Nano-and Flexible-Electronics’ will be organized, where works of six eminent world authorities on micro- and nano- electronics will be presented. As a guest of SASA, renowned professor Siegfried Selberherr, a professor at the Institute for Microelectronics of the Technische Universität Wien (TU Wien), a prominent scientist and a great authority in the field of microelectronics, will participate in the work of the mini-colloquium.

The organizers of the conference are the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Faculty of Electronics Engineering in Niš and the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts (SASA), under auspices of Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Developments of the Republic of Serbia.
