The Embassy of Mexico held the second edition of the gastronomic festival of Flavors of Mexico in Serbia at the Twenty Two Restaurant and Bar at the Metropol Palace Hotel, in Belgrade, from October 15th to October 22nd

On this occasion, people had the opportunity to witness the work of the renowned Mexican Chef Diana Beltrán Casarrubias, originally from Acapulco, Guerrero.

The guests tasted authentic ingredients from Mexico, like mole, huitlacoche, pozole blanco, and popular dishes like Veracruz-Style fish (pescado a la veracruzana), tostadas and tamales. Moreover, guests were able to enjoy the traditional aguas frescas, light non-alcoholic beverages, like Horchata, and for those who enjoy drinks like Tequilas, the classic Margarita was available.

The opening of the event started with a speech by H.E. Carlos Félix and it was attended by many respected guests that had the opportunity to truly meet with Mexican culture through its cuisine.
