First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic met today with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain in Belgrade, Mr. Miguel Fuertes Suarez.
During the meeting, they discussed the state of bilateral relations, expressing their shared interest in strengthening economic cooperation. The meeting pointed out the readiness to jointly celebrate the upcoming jubilee – one hundredth anniversary of establishing the Serbian diplomatic mission in Madrid – by organizing visits of officials from both countries.
Special attention was devoted to the support the Kingdom of Spain had continuously given to Serbia in international forums regarding Serbian strategic foreign policy priorities – maintaining its territorial integrity and keeping its European integration process on track.
