First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacichas senta message of condolences to Frank-Walter Steinmeier, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany, followingthe passing of Guido Westerwelle, former Minister of Foreign Affairs of that country.
“We have received the news about the death of former Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany, Guido Westerwelle,with disbelief and sadness. Guido Westerwelle will remain remembered for his contribution to the promotion of bilateral relations between the Republic of Serbia and the Federal Republic of Germany, strong support to our country’s European integration, as well as for strengthening cooperation and trust in the region of the Western Balkans.
I offer my most sincere condolences over the death of Guido Westerwelle, and please convey to his family that we stand with them in this difficult moment,” the message of condolence says.
