First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic met with Ms. Lyubov Glebova, Head of Rossotrudnichestvo – the Russian Federation’s Federal Agency for CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) Affairs, Compatriots Living Abroad and International Humanitarian Cooperation.

Head of Rossotrudnichestvo Lyubov Glebova conveyed satisfaction with her visit to Serbia, positively assessing the current moment in time concerning the cultural cooperation between the two countries.

Ms. Glebova informed about tomorrow’s ceremony on the occasion of unveiling the model dome of St. Sava’s Temple in Belgrade, to be put on display at the Russia House. She also took the opportunity to personally invite Minister Dacic to attend the ceremony.

Minister Dacic underlined the importance of St. Sava’s Temple being built for our country and people of Serbia, underscoring the important role played the Russian side in the Temple’s interior decoration project. Furthermore, he conveyed gratitude for the dedication the Russian side attached to finishing the construction of one of the landmarks of Belgrade and Serbia, through both funding and expertise, expressing his belief that joint work on such projects would greatly contribute to the development of the overall cultural cooperation between the two countries.
