The Italian Embassy in Belgrade marked the National Day and the 70th birthday of the Republic of Italy with the official reception.

The newly appointed Italian Ambassador in Belgrade H E Giuseppe Manzo gave on this occasion to Ivanka Popović (Vice-Rector of Belgrade University and President of the Assiciation of Italian and Serbian scientist and researcher) the Order of Star of Italy for he outstanding contributions. Manzo stressed the traditional friendship and partnership between Serbia and Italy.
