The new Ambassador of the Republic of Poland Rafal Perl also presented his credentials to the President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić.

Upon welcoming him and wishing a successful ambassadorial mandate, President Vučić told Ambassador Perl that he would have his full support to strengthen mutual ties and open new areas of cooperation between the two countries. “Serbia will be a reliable partner of Poland in order for good political relations to be accompanied by even better economic and any other cooperation,” President Vučić emphasised.

President Vučić, therefore, asked Ambassador Perl to convey his invitation to the President of Poland, Duda, to visit Serbia.

Ambassador Perl agreed that President Duda’s visit would be an excellent way to boost cooperation, as there are significant and untapped opportunities in many areas.

President Vučić thanked Poland for its support to Serbia’s European path, as well as for its help during the coronavirus pandemic.

Ambassador Perl said that Poland would continue to support the European perspective of Serbia, emphasising the importance of Serbia’s cooperation with the Višegrad Group, which Poland currently chairs.
