SASA Congratulates Peter Handke, the 2019 Nobel Laureate in Literature
Academician Vladimir S. Kostić, president of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, has congratulated Peter Handke, SASA foreign member and this year’s Nobel Laureate in Literature.
‘Please allow me, on behalf of the members of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, of which you are a foreign member, to offer my most sincere congratulations on winning this long-overdue award, since you have proved yourself a grand master of words in your works, capable of communicating new nuances and messages in the tradition of a great language. We take the liberty of rejoicing in your success as well’, the letter to Handke stated.
