On the second day of his attendance of the Francophonie Summit in Antananarivo, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic had a large number of meetings with Ministers and senior representatives of the member states of this organization.
The Serbian Foreign Minister had detailed discussions with the Foreign Ministers of Morocco, Cameroon, Armenia, Capo Verde, as well as with the Ministers of Laos and the Central African Republic. There were further meetings with the Deputy Foreign Minister of Ghana and senior representatives of Egypt and Mexico. During all the meetings political and economic cooperation were put in the forefront, with emphasis on the need to intensify bilateral political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs. Also, further cooperation of the Republic of Serbia was agreed with these countries in the framework of international organizations.
Representatives of the countries that have not recognized the unilaterally declared independence of Kosovo reiterated the principled position on non-recognition and further adherence to the norms of international law. Minister Dacic spoke also with representatives of some countries about the possibility of visa liberalization. All discussions took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
