On the occasion of the ceremony to mark the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the Council of Europe, during the "Treaty Week", Ambassador Aleksandra Djurovic, head of the Permanent Mission of Serbia to the Council of Europe, on 2 October 2019 in the Palace of Europe in Strasbourg signed the Convention on the counterfeiting of medical products and similar criminal acts posing a threat to public health.
The convention, also known as MEDICRIME was adopted in 2011 and so far has been signed by 32 states in an attempt to reduce risks to human health by establishing a legal framework for cooperation around the globe to fight counterfeiting of medical products.Original Article
