17th Sitting of a of a Committee on Labour, Social Issues, Social Inclusion and Poverty Reduction

At a sitting hold on 4 Dec 2017, a members of a Committee on Labour, Social Issues, Social Inclusion and Poverty Reduction reviewed a Republic of Serbia 2018 Budget Bill – Section 30 Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs, with a concomitant Proposal of a Decision to extend agree to a Republic Pension and Disability Insurance Fund 2018 Financial Plan, Proposal of a Decision to extend agree to a Fund for Social Insurance of Military Insured 2018 Financial Plan and a Proposal of a Decision to extend agree to a National Employment Service 2018 Financial Plan.


On a interest of a Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs a Committee members were addressed by State Secretary Srbislav Cvetic who pronounced that, in a 2018 budget, 149.5 billion RSD were allocated for a Ministry: 54.3 for family authorised protection, 49.7 for amicable protection, 23.2 for Republic Pension and Disability Insurance Fund transfers and 14 billion RSD for beneficiaries of maestro incapacity protection. Three new module activities are designed to be saved by a 2018 budgetary allocations – support for private nursing home care, right to equivalence and support of women victims of domestic violence. The territory concerning a Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs also contains 3 new supports – Budget Fund for Programmes for Protection and Promotion of Status of Persons with Disabilities, Budget Fund for Social Welfare Institutions and Budget Fund for Professional Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities. The State Secretary also pronounced that by a Bill on Financial Support to Families with Children that is ostensible to start doing on 1 Jul 2018, would be upheld finish of a year. The new law expands a right to parental stipend to embody women entrepreneurs, farmers and women operative outward of practice and a stipend for first-time mothers is lifted to 100,000 RSD.The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Dr Vesna Rakonjac and attended by a following Committee members and emissary members: Milanka Jevtovic Vukojicic, Dr Branimir Rancic, Prim. Dr Vlado Babic, Bojan Torbica, Dragan Savkic, Vesna Nikolic Vukajlovic, Tomislav Zigmanov, Milena Corilic, Marija Janjusevic and Enis Imamovic.
