Dans le cadre du Mois de la Francophonie, la Cinémathèque yougoslave prepare un programme de classiques du cinema français. Au programme, une selection de chefs-d’oeuvres phares et rares du cinema français. La majorité des films sera projetée à partir des copies gardées dans les Archives de la Cinémathèque yougoslaves, mais aussi à partir des copies restaurées et digitalisées venues de France. German envoy: Brussels dialogue isn’t dead, it’s just not happening right...
According to Schieb, the idea wasn’t to change the role of the European Union and the format of the talks, but to support the current framework of the dialogue.
“The dialogue is not dead, it is just not happening at the moment,” the ambassador said.
The talks have been on hold since last November after Pristina introduced the 100 percent of import duties on goods from Serbia and Bosnia and had been refusing to suspend or lift them despite pressure from the US and the EU.
Both Belgrade and Brussels say the talks may continue after the tariffs are annulled.
Asked who won and who lost with the cancellation of the Paris meeting, Schieb said the main goal was to resume the dialogue.
“That is our primary aim. We don’t want to have winners and losers in these talks,” he said, adding Pristina’s taxes should be lifted as soon as possible.
Schieb said that since Berlin recognised Kosovo’s independence, the dialogue should aim at the normalisation of relations between Belgrade and Pristina...

Почтить память героев пришли представители Посольства Российской Федерации в Республике Сербии, Представительства Россотрудничества, руководства страны, городских властей, общественных организаций, а также активисты молодежных организаций Сербии – волонтеры Акции Мира и Согласия.

The Struggle Of China’s Digital Diplomacy – OpEd
In early January 2021, The State Department declared on Tuesday that the Chinese government is committing genocide and crimes against humanity through its wide-scale repression of Uighurs and other predominantly Muslim ethnic minorities in its northwestern region of Xinjiang, including in its use of internment camps and forced sterilization. This fact also has emphasized by the Human Right Watch report 2021 that informed the Chinese government if they used hard threat on Uighur Muslim such as re-education camp, torture, kind napping, the restiction on religion activities, etc.
But, the Chinese government does not recognize it as a fact in Xinjiang. They used an alternative, the Wolf Warrior diplomacy – a defensive rhetoric – to face the US including with social media. Концерт оркестра Уральского университета в Валево
В Доме культуры сербского города Валево состоялся вечер с участием оркестра русских народных инструментов «Рифей» Уральского университета Екатеринбурга. Организатор мероприятия «Добрый вечер, Россия!» — Ассоциация содействия развитию культуры (АСК) г. Валево и РЦНК «Русский Дом» в Белграде.
Многочисленной публике, среди которой были представители городских властей, Сербской православной церкви, молодежных организаций, соотечественников представлена программа, в которую вошли любимые в Сербии русские народные песни и популярные джазовые композиции. Особым подарком стало исполнение легендарной песни времен Первой мировой войны «Тамо далеко», которую с оркестром пел весь зал.
В программе вечера также выступил художественный коллектив Общества по сохранению традиционной культуры Сербии «Абрашевич».
Вечер в г. Валево стал еще одним в ряде мероприятий РЦНК, способствовавший укреплению культурных связей двух стран.

Conference “Healthcare in the Republic of Serbia after the Pandemic” held
An online conference called “Healthcare in the Republic of Serbia after the Pandemic” dedicated to the Serbian healthcare system was held in Belgrade on June 2. The conference participants discussed current topics of importance for the Serbian healthcare system, which direction will health care take after COVID-19, how the pandemic helped us understand the importance of innovation, and how to improve the integration of all three levels of health care.

The women ambassadors wove carpets in Pirot
Canadian Ambassador H. E. Kati Csaba and the wife of US Ambassador Anne Godfrey tried their hand at weaving looms in the vicinity of Pirot today, with the help of skilled weavers, who gathered from different parts of Serbia to share their knowledge within the fifth Weaving Colony.
The Fifth Weaving Colony was held from August 4 to 7 on Stara Planina, in the Dojkinci Mountain Lodge, and was organized by the umbrella association of handicraft producers Ethno Network and the City of Pirot, under the auspices of the Canadian and US embassies.
