55 UAE nationals complete ‘21st century diplomacy’ course

Abu Dhabi: The Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy (AGDA) in Abu Dhabi has successfully concluded the second ‘Summer Academy Programme’ in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MoFAIC).
The academy welcomed 55 Emirati diplomats that joined the programme from May 23 to 26, both virtually and at its campus. The programme was exclusively designed for diplomats and was organised by the Academic Department. The participants took part in sessions taught by AGDA’s faculty members, as well as experts working in the field of 21st century diplomacy and foreign affairs.

2nd Diplomatic Tennis Tournament 2022
The 2nd Diplomatic Tennis Tournament to help Children took place very successfully at Novak Tennis Centre, from 21-22 May 2022. It was attended by a record number of 44 participants, including several Ambassadors, representing over 30 embassies, diplomatic missions and international institutions, as well as the theater, cinema and arts, and CEOs or executives from the private sector. This charity event was organized with the aim of helping and supporting early childhood development and pre-school education, through the Novak Djoković Foundation.

A jubilee celebration was held on Republic Square in Belgrade to mark more than 20 years of German development cooperation in Serbia. The event was organized by the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and the German Development Bank (KfW). Visitors enjoyed a diverse cultural and artistic programme, and learned about the work of German development cooperation in Serbia over the past two decades.
