2021 P4G Seoul Summit
With a sense of urgency for leadership and accelerated actions to meet the goals set by the SDGs and the Paris Agreement, the inaugural P4G summit was held successfully in Copenhagen in October 2018. This year, the Republic Korea is hosting the 2nd Summit online on May 30-31 with the slogan “Green We Go, Change We Make” and under the main theme “Inclusive Green Recovery towards Carbon Neutrality.”

As a result of the first visit to Novi Sad by the Group of Francophone Ambassadors presided by the Embassy of Egypt in Serbia in March, President of Provincial Government of Vojvodina, Mr. Igor Mirović will lead the first high level governmental and business delegation from to Governorate of Alexandria, Egypt in the period 23-26 May, 2021 composed of high official and President of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Vojvodina, Mr. Boško Vučurević.
“We warmly welcome this important visit which culminates the joint efforts over the last three years for cooperation between Vojvodina and Alexandria in diverse fields including trade, investment, agriculture, education, culture and tourism in coordination with” said Ambassador of Egypt to Serbia Amr Aljowaily noting that “it would further strengthen the economic and cultural ties between Serbia and Egypt as a whole”.

This was the beginning of a strong friendship, based on mutual respect and collaboration between nations that shared similar values and goals.

The regional “School Exchange Scheme”
The regional “School Exchange Scheme” project, implemented by GIZ in cooperation with RYCO, is a great opportunity for young people in the Wester Balkans to gain knowledge and exchange experiences with each-other.
This 5.5 Million Euro project, co-funded by the European Union and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), will establish a regional school exchange scheme, where young students (age 13-17) will have the opportunity to meet and get to know their peers from different Western Balkan countries.
The project itself was kicked-off in Tirana, on Saturday, by EU Ambassador, Luigi Soreca, German Ambassador, Peter Zingraf and the RYCO’s Secretary General, Albert Hani.

SERBIA 2030 – FIRST THEMATIC DIALOGUE ON THE 2030 AGENDA
The Ministry for Human and Minority Rights and Social Dialogue of the Republic of Serbia invited a wide range of state and non-state stakeholders to participate in the first thematic dialogue on the 2030 Agenda entitled „Sustainable Development Goals – Serbia 2030“. The hybrid event, which combined online and in-person attendance, was held on 10th May 2021 with support of the German and Swiss Development Cooperation implemented by GIZ within the “Public Finance Reform – 2030 Agenda” project. Around 100 people participated in the dialogue, amongst them Minister Gordana Čomić, Minister of European Integration Jadranka Joksimović, Prof. Dr. Slavica Djukić Dejanović in her capacity as Special Advisor to the Prime Minister on the 2030 Agenda, as well as high level representatives from the UN, the German and the Swiss embassies, and academia.
