Denmark Supports Serbia Digitization Efforts
Together with other Nordic Embassies in Belgrade and under the auspices of the Nordic Council of Ministers, the Embassy of Denmark organized a seminar 'NorDig - Nordic Experiences in Digitalization' on October 9th in the Yugoslav Film Archives.
The exhibition “BELGRADE – HELSINKI, 90 Years of Diplomatic Relations”
The exhibition “BELGRADE – HELSINKI, 90 Years of Diplomatic Relations” presents the history of relations between the two countries through official documents that marked the most important events.
A special focus of the exhibition is on the friendship of two presidents, Joseph Broz Tito and Urho Kekkonen. President Kekkonen has visited Yugoslavia four times, while President Tito has visited Finland twice. The exhibition was organised by the Yugoslavia Archives, while the Urh Kekkonen Archive in Niinikoski, Finland, provided photographs taken during Kekkonen’s visits to Yugoslavia in 1963 and 1975. The exhibition will be opened to visitors every weekday until the end of October 2019.

Mexico and Montenegro sign Memorandum of Understanding on diplomatic and academic...
The Ambassador of Montenegro to Serbia, H.E. Tarzan Milošević and the Ambassador of Mexico to Serbia and the non-resident Ambassador of Mexico to Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia and Montenegro, H.E. Marco Antonio Garcia Blanco, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding stipulating diplomatic and academic cooperation.
Mexico also donated Mexican artwork to the National Library of Montenegro, the Faculty of Philology and Mexico elementary school from Bar. Mexico also donated 12 flags to the school.

The Embassy of the United States of America announced that it marked the 19th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on September 11 on Friday by donating blood voluntarily with Ambassador Anthony Godfrey and members of the embassy with their partners and friends.
After the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, many Americans wanted to help their community in the best possible way, and a huge number did so by donating blood, the embassy said in a statement.

In March, a large shipment of thousands of masks, gloves, overalls and goggles arrived in Birmingham. Stapled to the side of each of the crates was a quote, in both Chinese and English, attributed to William Shakespeare: ‘He that is thy friend indeed, he will help thee in thy need.’ (“岁寒知松柏,患难见真情.”) This consignment was one of many from Chinese universities to their partner institutions in the UK. In this case, the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University sent this shipment to their long standing partner, the University of Birmingham.
