Embassies of Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden, with the support of the Nordic Council of Ministers launched the project “Boosting circular economy in Serbia – Nordic experiences” on 9.9.2021. The project was announced during the reception in the garden of the Residence of the Ambassador of Norway, H. E. Jorn Gjelstad Embassies of the Nordic countries, co-ordinated by Finland, aim to support Serbia in the continuation of the implementation of principles of circular economy, to share the experiences of their countries, and to raise awareness of local partners about the importance and benefits of circular economy, which affects individuals, companies and the society as a whole. Belgian Residence in Belgrade-A building of interesting history

The building has been constructed by the Obrenović family, at the end of the 19th century. It became the home of Draga Masin wife of King Aleksandar Obrenović. It is a real privilege to live in the Belgian Residence, right in the center of Belgrade, close to Serbia’s political and socio-cultural heartbeat. Parliament, Presidency, the seat of Government and City Hall are within walking distance. This also gives me the luxury to leave my car behind, a modest contribution to a healthier Belgrade. The goal was to introduce the guests to the rich culture and history of our capital, and they had the opportunity to see parts of Belgrade in a completely different light, in an informal atmosphere and accompanied by a tour guide, and to visit restaurants woven in the capital city’s rich history.
