Germany supports Towns and Municipalities by Donating Protective and IT Equipment
Within the project “Inclusion of Roma and Other Marginalised Groups in Serbia”, German Development Cooperation has lent support to towns and municipalities in combating further spread of coronavirus in Serbia by providing protective and IT equipment to crisis headquarters, call centres and other relevant local bodies.
The months-long pandemic of COVID-19 virus has disrupted both economy and life in general, and produced a need for setting up temporary bodies and expanding crisis headquarters to provide assistance to fellow citizens in their communities. In order to preserve public health, and following the invitation from the Cabinet of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia and the Chairperson of the Coordination Body for Monitoring the Implementation of the Strategy for Social Inclusion of Roma, Prof Zorana Mihajlović, the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany has decided to aid Serbia with the donation of 1,950 of protective masks and 78 packages of protective ..
Certificate for Canadian Ambassador
Representatives of the Council for Gender Equality and Equal Opportunities of the City of Novi Pazar presented to H. E. Kati Csaba, Ambassador of Canada to Serbia a certificate for her contribution to the promotion and affirmation of gender equality and equal opportunities policies.
The event took place on Thursday, May 28, at 11:30 at the Official Residence of the Embassy of Canada (Uzicka 33). May 28 is also the International Day of Action for Women’s Health.

Prejudices, customs and habits stronger than the law
The institution of the Commissioner for the Protection of Equality has marked its 10th anniversary. At the ceremony, Commissioner Brankica Janković said the following:” A lot has been done in the previous period, but there is still no real equality, while prejudices, customs and habits are stronger than the law.”
The first decade of the Commissioner’s work was marked by thousands of resolved cases. Some of them were quite memorable, the Commissioner said.

Rap en français
Pour la première fois, l’Institut français de Serbie organise un concours de rap adressé à tous les 12-28 ans habitant en Serbie. Il est demandé aux participants de produire une vidéo de rap de moins d’une minute, seul ou à plusieurs, en utilisant au minimum 2 langues, dont le français (au minimum 1 mot)
La participation au concours s’effectue exclusivement sur Instagram en envoyant les vidéos à #rapenfrancais2020. Les vidéos seront ensuite publiées sur la page Instagram du concours.
L’auteur de la vidéo qui recevra le plus de like et qui sera choisie par notre jury recevra un iPhone SE nouvelle génération.
Ce concours se déroulera du 2 juin 2020 au 2 juillet 2020.

В Представительстве Россотрудничества в Сербии состоялась рабочая встреча руководителя Представительства Н.В. Кущенковой с представителями телевизионной компании Arena Channels Group.
В ходе встречи представлено несколько телевизионных форматов телеканала Balkan Trip, недавно дополнившего телевизионную сеть компании и направленного в первую очередь на продвижение туристического потенциала Сербии и стран в регионе.
Сербской стороной высказано намерение обогатить контент телеканала за счет материалов из зарубежных стран, с особым акцентом на российскую культуру, историю, традиции, географию и др.
Сторонами оговорены дальнейшие шаги по развитию сотрудничества и реализации намеченного.

Будущие студенты узнают об особенностях обучения на 17 факультетах вуза и преимуществах проживания в студенческом кампусе. Представители приемной комиссии ответят на вопросы об особенностях приема иностранных абитуриентов, о подаче документов в электронной форме и проведении вступительных экзаменов в дистанционном режиме. Прием документов на первый курс начинается с 20 июня 2020.
Через год университет отметит свое столетие. Почти за вековую историю диплом университета получили более 153 тысяч выпускников, из которых около 10 тысяч иностранных студентов. Это ученые, руководители крупных компаний, государственные и политические деятели. Сегодня университет – это центр международного образования, в котором обучаются студенты из 56 стран мира. Это уникальный университетский кампус, расположенный на единой территории.
